Mara To Launch Body Oil

Mara, the line of algae-infused skincare and wellness products, is entering the bodycare space. Sea Sculpt Body Oil ($68) debuts next week. Founded by TV personality Allison McNamara, the company markets a range of personal care products built with ingredients such as a proprietary algae blend, moringa, bilberry, plankton extracts, baobab and Kalahari watermelon.

But, according to McNamara, three key ingredients make the oil unique. Plankton firms skin, reducees the appearance of cellulite and improves elasticity. Celery seed reduces texture and promotes a healthy skin barrier. Kelp hydrates and boosts collagen production.
